About Chris Conroy

Hi, I'm Chris. I am a teacher and recruiter. I love optimism and science, which means I believe the superpowers of self-awareness and critical thinking can help us solve our most difficult problems. We have activated these powers to peer inside atoms and see billions of years into our past. However, to borrow a bit from the bard, the discoveries we need today won't be made among the stars. Instead, they will be within our own minds.

To do the work necessary to solve our most intractable challenges, the frontier that most desperately requires discovery is our own consciousness. This is the original journey and our most difficult exploration yet. At this blog, we call it returning to the source.

This blog is intended to help share what we are learning about the ways people are coming to understand ourselves and how we can work better together in a world that is changing faster than ever. Quite simply, we will talk with people who are passionate about understanding people. If that sounds like your thing, then I invite you to check out more of our content.

As for what I actually do for work, I've probably had several lifetimes worth of jobs. But I truly love teaching and watching people grow. Recruiting turned out to be the perfect career for me because it allowed me to do both. My wife, Kadesh, is a human resources superstar, so we decided to open our family-run Human Resources consultancy in 2013, now called The Wellspring Group

Simple, right? Maybe not. It's led me on an unusual career path that has put me smack dab in the middle of the Human(e) Resources Revolution.

Allow me to explain...
